As the Administrative Assistant, you will be a vital role in creating this positive working experience. This is a support role which will include many administrative tasks, supporting the company’s vision of a people-first company that drives continued growth as a diversified technology company in the US. In this role, you will have the opportunity to grow as a professional through exposure to different areas of business and various levels of leadership in the company. This position reports to the President out of Atlanta, GA office.

 

Responsibilities

Office Management

  • Responsible for  coordination of office resources.

  • Manage inventory of office supplies.

  • Partner with HR department to welcome new employees and guests.

  • Provide general support to visitors.

  • Manage office organization and storage spaces.

  • Partner with Human Resources in coordinating special events.

  • Assist employees with various requests for office needs

  • Maintain office equipment and assist employees with using the equipment.

  • Responsible for management of all incoming calls and distributing voicemails.

  • Oversee and maintain office cleanliness.

  • Provide employees and guests with parking access and building access.

  • Point person for all mailing and shipping needs.

  • Maintain a safe and secure working environment.

 

Office Culture

  • Point person to ensure all guests feel welcome and ensure that all hosts are aware when guests arrive.

  • Participate in planning for office events.

  • Assist in acknowledgements of special events for employees and company.

  • Purchase gifts and various items for appropriate occasions.

  • Collaborate with offshore  team on company wide events.

  • Assist with coordinate office celebrations.

Qualifications

Experience

  • A minimum of 2-years of experience in an office administrative type role.

     

Skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficient in Microsoft office.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to apply critical thinking to solve daily challenges.

  • Effective time management skills.

  • Ability to take direction and apply knowledge to meet directives.

  • Detail oriented and well organized.

  • Strong Interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Excellent computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel and Skype.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills including comfort working directly with executive-level personnel.

  • Eagerness to learn and grow as a business professional.

  • Comfort with a fast-paced environment is necessary.

 

Education/ Training Preferred

  • College Degree preferred.

 

 Ideal Candidate

The right person for this role will have a strong understanding of administrative type tasks. This person will have an eagerness to learn and will have a “customer service” mentality. This role requires a proactive work style where one feels confident in problem-solving and working with others on different levels of the organization. This person should have a positive mentality when it comes to facing obstacles and problem-solving. While the role largely requires simple tasks such as daily office management tasks, there will also be ample opportunity to collaborate with Human Resources to make the role exciting, interesting, meaningful and have a significant impact on the Group’s US operations to fulfill the overall company vision.
