Financial planning & analysis (FP&A) is an in-house finance role on the corporate side. The FP&A Team is responsible for providing management and executives with the analysis and information they need to make major operational, financial, and strategic decisions. The FP&A team is responsible for running the annual budgeting process for the company and each of the Group’s business units, as well as liaising with accounting to manage cash flow forecast models, liaising with accounting for variance analysis, and other financial performance tools.
The Manager of FP&A will play a highly visible and key role in providing critical financial and strategic consultation to leaders across the organization. S/He will support all aspects of financial planning, PL review, and other complex financial analyses required to profitably and responsibly grow the business.
As the business grows, the Manager of FP&A will have the opportunities to grow either in corporate
FP&A team or into CFO role of one of KMS software product companies.
Responsibilities:
Financial Planning: Partner with business leaders across the organization to produce semi-annual, annual and multi-year financial forecasts that provide a roadmap for the company to achieve its strategic objectives
P&L Review: Work with accounting on monthly P&L review process that includes explaining variances to plan, providing insight on current and expected trends, and identifying areas of risk and opportunities
Manage capitalization: Maintain company’s cap table, issue stock options when approved by the Board of Directors, address cancellations and terminations of stock option grants, stock issuance and repurchase
Valuation: perform semi-annual company valuation or work with third party to perform such valuation(s)
Financial Analysis: Conduct complex financial cost/benefit analyses to support growth and other strategic initiatives; Identifying trends in financial performance and providing recommendations for improvement
Other: Other ad-hoc support and analyses as needed
