In order to drive this expansion KMS is seeking to hire a Business Development Representative. This position’s purpose is to develop new opportunities for the KMS sales team through outbound calling to a highly-targeted list and through timely responses to inquiries generated by marketing. This individual hired for this role will not be easily discouraged by setbacks. This position requires maintaining eagerness to contact potential customers despite experiencing some rejection. The Business Development Representative gain a strong knowledge of KMS services to bridge the relationship with potential customers to the Account Executive. The ideal candidate is high-energy, has a positive attitude, loves to learn, and thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment.
The Business Development Representative will work primarily with the sales team to identify and contact potential customers for KMS. This opportunity is ideal for a professional who enjoys challenging themselves on a daily basis.
Outreach to potential prospects both from well-defined, targeted list and from inbound inquiries
Qualify the fit of KMS offerings for prospects and develop leads
Schedule meetings for KMS salespeople
Maintain complete, accurate records in Salesforce.com
Reach or exceed key performance metrics, such as dials and opportunities
Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements, to promote the sale of company products, and to provide sales support.
Research and identify potential customers for products or services.
Participate in introduction of products in new markets.
Bachelor’s degree in Business or a similar field.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a professional business environment.
Dynamic phone skills with the ability to make dozens of calls per day
Excellent computer skills, especially Google suite, Zoom and Skype.
Ability to build strong relationships to meet customer needs.
Familiar and comfortable with technology.
