Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Content Writer who is looking for the opportunity to become a growth expert at a growing tech start-up.This role will be responsible for making sure the digital content on Katalon websites produced, updated, and accurate. Excellent writing, editing, communications, and interpersonal skills are required. This experience will help you get an in-depth experience in building start-ups in both the Consumer and Enterprise industry. If one of your dreams is to drive the growth of a global technology product that makes a real impact on people’s lives through digital content, this position might be for you.

Job summary:

  • Your main responsibility involves assisting the team to write documentation in English for Katalon’s software products and services. Our documentation includes developer guides, installation guides, user guides, and online help.
  • Maintain and update Katalon’s documentation. Manage, proofread, and edit technical materials authored by product experts.
  • Author blog articles and other materials related to the test automation domain.
  • Work closely with professional writers and software developers to gain a real understanding of software documentation.
  • Coordinate with development team, marketing team, and sales team to produce user-friendly documentation and engaging marketing collaterals.
  • Work with copy writer to oversee our content calendar to plan content distribution across all channels.
  • Analyze content performance and make data-driven decisions to maximize content impact.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a Content writer/editor, or similar role
  • Excellent writing and editing skills in English
  • Affinity for writing on technical topics
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A confident and positive character with good communication skills and a ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Experience writing and editing copy for digital campaigns
  • A flair for brevity. Flawless spelling and grammar
  • A knack for channeling different editorial voices, and an understanding of brand audience — what they care about and what they share
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Marketing, Journalism, Communications or English
  • Prior experience in the technology industry is preferred
  • Innate curiosity and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Willing to work hard and able to learn quickly
  • High standards of excellence and keen attention to detail
  • Creative, curious and critical thinking. Performance and result-oriented
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, early-stage start-up environment
