Responsibilities

Role Expectation: To help build world-class data practice for KMS Solutions. The role is to set the direction, select/integrate/automate delivery toolset, stand up the processes and develop delivery capabilities/delivery network to efficiently deliver the data projects at scale. Job involves:

  • Shape data service portfolio to capitalize the fast growing market
  • Propose and select the strategic partners to align with our go-to-market strategy
  • Lead decisions on data infrastructure, platforms/tools and delivery processes
  • Build the delivery team (both permanent and contingent workforce) and oversee performance of data projects
  • Provide thought leadership to prospects and customers on Data and Analytics, the best technologies, products and platforms, and lead the assessment and design of current and future state architectures, perform gap analysis, and develop transformation roadmaps
  • Speak at seminars and events as seasoned data practitioner

Reporting Line: The role reports directly to KMS Solutions Managing Director

Qualifications

  • Excellent spoken English and outstanding customer service to handle English-speaking customers
  • Solid track record of standing up and managing similar practice around data and analytics
  • Experienced in providing project management and oversight  to multiple mission critical data projects
  • Experienced with Data Quality Management, Data Transformation, Data Integration, Data Visualization & Reporting disciplines
  • Experience working with a few popular BI, Analytics and Big Data platforms: Talend, Hadoop, MongoDB, PowerBI, Qlik, etc.
  • Extensive network with free-lancers and other local IT companies to build contingent workforce is a major plus
  • AI and Machine Learning experience is a plus
  • Overseas education and working experience are preferred
