Responsibility/Challenge/Opportunity

  • Learn and practice one or more modern technologies: iOS, Android, React Native, Flutter, etc.
  • Participate in all software development activities following the Scrum process
  • Design solutions and approach for software features or subsystems
  • Write high-quality code to implement software features or fix bugs
  • Perform unit testing, documentation and all other activities defined in Definition of Done before passing source code to the Testing team
  • Teamwork, collaborate and report on status or result of work

Qualifications

Skills/knowledge you need to be successful:

     a. General:

  • Open for 3rd/4th students or fresh graduated, minimum 3-month internship commitment 
  • Can work at least 3 days per week
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/ Software Engineering or IT related majors
  • Understand practices for high code quality: maintainability, re-usability, code reviews, unit testing...
  • Comfortable working in a product development environment.
  • Pro-activeness (self-starter), good communication and fast learning

     b. Technical:

  • Have an understanding of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, RESTful APIs, HTTP, and networking concepts, and at least one JS library (e.g. React, Angular, Vue, etc.)
  • Have basic knowledge of mobile app development on Native and Cross-Platform
  • Comfortable working in Agile
  • Good writing and reading skills in English 

     c. Nice to have/plus: 

     Have basic experience in working mobile native code on iOS and Android that interfaces with the React Native application; and in writing cross-platform apps with React Native.
