Your key responsibilities:

Lead Automation QA team for software development projects or QA projects
Plan, estimate automation work, manage creation and review of test-related artifacts
Evaluate automation tools; create automation test strategies, write automation test plans, develop automation test scripts, manage test tasks
Execute automated test scripts, analyze results, and report on test results
Develop automation framework to support business needs
Report daily progress/issues to management and client representatives
Train/Manage QA resources of projects assigned, mentor and provide guidance to QA resources, be responsible for the career development plan of team members
Be a part of steering team in promoting QA excellence within organization and clients
Participate in R&D, training activities related to but not limited to software testing

Qualifications

Knowledge and skills:

Good knowledge of software testing methodology
Experience with creating and measuring the majority of automation solutions
Experience with UI test automation, API test automation, and Performance testing
Experience with test automation tools: Selenium, Protractor, Cucumber, Jmeter
Experience with programming languages: JavaScript/TypeScript
Experience with integrating test automation as part of a Continuous Integration (CI) process using Jenkins or similar tools
Practical experience using source code control systems, especially Git
Good sense of quality assessment and quality improvement
Must have hands-on experience working with Agile team
Experience with managing QA team & working with US clients
Experience with defining/tailoring software testing process which can jointly be applied for the QA team & client’s teams

Good human relation skills, ability to collaborate effectively across departments and teams
Strong presentation and client relation skills
Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills, self-managed and self-motivated skills
