Responsibilities

The Manager, Business Development will be responsible for leading a team of top-performing Business Development Representatives, (BDR), who will use inbound and outbound tele-prospecting to deliver qualified opportunities and incremental pipeline for the Sales teams. The manager will set and monitor sales lead processes and metrics and drive the team to meet and exceed goals, objectives and quota achievement.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of Sales Development Representatives tasked with delivering qualified Sales opportunities
  • Align with Sales Leaders to develop target account strategy and Lead-handoff best practices to produce results leading to incremental pipeline growth
  • Ensure timely follow-up by SDRs on all Marketing-generated leads
  • Solicit ongoing Sales feedback regarding opportunity quality, and make adjustments as needed to provide the best Opportunities
  • Provide support/coaching to the SDRs around business process, Sales collaboration, and lead qualification
  • Work collaboratively with Marketing team to share customer response to campaigns and provide feedback on lead quality and program effectiveness to optimize future campaigns.

Qualifications

 

  • 1-3 years of experience in leading high-performing Sales Development teams
  • High energy level, highly-motivated and with a strong passion for selling
  • Well organized with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of industry-leading Lead Qualification methodologies and best practices
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Salesforce.com knowledge required
