Responsibilities

The Brilliant Career You Love 

  • Work with US and UK-based clients and Vietnam development team to understand business needs and develop technical solutions for enterprise applications
  • Lead the offshore development center, ensure the understanding and compliance of offshore engineers to the product vision, and technical direction
  • Accountable for leading the development team to maintain, improve development hygiene, code quality, maintainability of the software suite and achieve other operational goals for the software suite (i.e. ease of deployment, CI/CD ready…)
  • Participate in software architecture and design activities with both the client’s technical leaders/Architect and KMS onshore/offshore, make technical decisions for the development of the applications
  • Actively participate in sprint planning and retrospective meetings. Perform estimate or estimate reviews
  • Perform hands-on coding and code review as other peer developers as needed
  • Participate in solving challenging technical issues and providing other technical support to our end users as needed

Qualifications

General requirements:

  • At least intermediate skill level of English
  • Good problem-solving skills and presentation skills
  • Familiar with the Agile development methodologies (Scrum, XP, Kanban)

Technical requirements:

  • Solid knowledge and experience as enterprise software architect with the ability to be hands-on as a developer, a technical lead or architect
  • Strong experience with OO design
  • Experience with software development principles such as SOLID, DRY
  • RESTful API, Web-Service, JSON, Swagger Doc, Postman, Rabbitmq
  • Strong experience developing C++ based, large-scale, high-performance software, experience with Qt framework
  • Experience developing Multi-threaded, multi-process, distributed systems
  • 4+ years of experience with RDBMS, Mysql and object/relational mappings, dealing with large data
  • Experience working on Linux development environment
  • Experience Docker/Docker-compose; Consul
  • Perform exemplary work in terms of quality and level of skill/knowledge required

Nice to have:

  • Familiar with media domain: Ffmeg codecs, Mainconcept, Red codecs SDK
  • AWS: S3, Ansible
  • Ubuntu, CentOS, Fedora
  • Maven, Gradle (with Groovy), NPM
  • Bash Shell and Powershell scripting
