UpStar is an incubator fully sponsored by KMS Technology. Our aim is to build global products made by Vietnamese teams.
Every product we build needs to be global and become a market leader. Of the 3 products incubated at UpStar so far, the first exited successfully (QASymphony), 1 raised its first round as an independent company (Kobiton) and 1 is on track to become the global market leader in its category (Katalon).
We are now building our 4th generation of Product aimed at the HR / People industry (SaaS B2B product).
Scope:
Works with our Marketing Manager to define the editorial and content distribution strategy
Writes for a variety of online medium in order to build the brand and weave a story around what we believe (blog, guest post, social media, Twitter, emails, etc.)
Repurposes content for different distribution channels by varying between infographics, short form of content, etc.
Engages with the online community around the topic clusters related to our product
Writes landing pages and ad copy for our product experiments
Writes in-app content to engage end-users
Does content research and is able to analyze competitors’ approach to content
Hard KPI:
Shares (brand building)
Email engagement (when applicable)
In-app engagement (when applicable)
Sign-up (landing pages)
Profile:
Is able to write in English with minimal review by an English-native speaker (candidates will be asked to submit some of their previous work)
Is able to choose what relevant topics to write about without being told
Is passionate about content writing and storytelling
Understands marketing funnels & customer journeys
Is comfortable with A/B testing & iterating the copy
Can 'walk in the customer shoes' easily
Has a passion for writing copy that influences people's behaviors
Willing to work hard and able to learn quickly
Understands behavioral economics and overall human psychology
Has a bias for publishing, not perfecting the copy over and over again
Is able to perform research on her/his own on new topics
A previous experience in writing B2B content for a SaaS product is a plus

Isn’t able to publish in English without an English-native reviewer
Needs to be told what to write, when or how
Only wants to write one type of copy (ex: only short form, or only long form, or only creative copy, etc.)
