Your key responsibilities

  • Provide an initial point of contact to our customers via ticketing systems
  • Triage and work on incoming issues to bring them to quick resolution per defined standard services
  • Work with all Tiers of support to triage issues, file and update bug reports and come up with solutions.
  • Deploy, configure, troubleshoot and work with team on system deployment and system monitoring following predefined workflows.
  • Perform configuration management, automating and containerizing existing processes, applications and services.
  • Actively contribute ideas and efforts to product success.
  • Provide other duties as needed like technical support for end users and in-house development team.
  • Compliance with security policy
  • Work on-shift after working hours (OT compensation applied) and weekends as scheduled (if needed)

Qualifications

Skills/ knowledge you need to be successful

  • Good communication and English skills (minimum Intermediate level) to work with end users and client; Proactiveness (self-starter), good communication and fast learning
  • Good problem-solving skill
  • Knowledge of networking relating - TCP/IP & managing linux servers in system administration
  • Ability to learn and independently manage and resolve multiple customer issues whilst understanding when to engage other resources for help
  • Comfort with collaboration, open communication, and reaching across functional borders

Nice to have

  • Ability to learn and adapt both cloud-based and hardware server management, including virtualization & containerization.
  • Good knowledge in Linux OS and Cloud Computing.
  • Good knowledge in computer networking and application protocols (HTTP/S, SMTP, etc.)
  • Own automation mindset with appropriate tools like shell scripting (Linux Bash or PowerShell), IFTTT, Rundesk, etc
  • Strong motivation to drive impact by making product improvements
  • Education/training preferred:
    • Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
    • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
    • LPIC-1: System Administrator (Linux Certification)
    • ITIL Foundation
