As Head of AI, you will lead our research efforts across the fields of computer vision, natural language processing, and classification. This role will involve working with leaders across the business to understand challenges that can be solved through AI/ML-based solutions, defining research roadmaps, and leading your team of researchers as they execute on those roadmaps. You will work with engineering leaders to transform research into AI capabilities in our platform.
The Head of AI will report directly to Katalon’s Chief Technology Officer.
Key Qualifications:
Master's or PhD degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics (a degree that provided focus on AI/ML and Machine Perception is highly desired)
5+ years of experience in developing solutions that include components related to Analytics, AI/ML, or computational perception
At least 2 years of experience in working on projects with AI/ML as the focus
2+ years of experience in applying Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) and deep learning to a diverse set of commercial applications including, but not limited to, classification, computer vision, and/or natural language processing
Experience working with Transfer Learning and Reinforcement Learning approaches to training systems
Demonstrated ability to program in one or more high level languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript) in conjunction with widely used AI/ML SDKs
Experience building and leading diverse, high-performing teams
Working knowledge of agile methodologies
Strong execution and ability to drive work to completion
Bonus Points:
Expertise with database management systems and data warehousing systems is desired.
Familiarity with developing cloud-based AI solutions using technologies offered by major cloud providers such as Amazon AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure a strong plus.
