SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Responsibilities

The Senior Accountant will play an essential role in core accounting services that support for the services and products for a group of companies to help proactively make business decisions. 

As a successful candidate, you will be responsible for bookkeeping, working on monthly process of financial statement that includes explaining variances to plan, having accurate financial records helps managers and business owners to answer important questions, in addition to ad-hoc analyses for each department as needed. This position reports to the Finance Manager.

Job Summary & Key Responsibilities

• Mainly in charge of booking for the US side with bookkeeping tasks for multi-entities;
• Work on global accounting system based on ERP application;
• Maintain, manage and update all of accounting data and processes;
• Apply and enhance procedures and accounting process for supporting all departments within the group of companies;
• Ensure all booking entries for all US entities are booked under US GAAP and US accounting standard;
• Perform analysis of financial reports, journal entries and monthly ledger closing processes;
• Review, validate and analyze monthly results to ensure accuracy of financial statements, making accruals and adjustments as needed;
• Work on monthly P&L review process that includes explaining variances to plan, providing and identifying areas of risk and opportunities;
• Prepare and distribute the data analysis reports for supporting the quarterly review with each departments;
• Directly work with finance manager, finance director in VN and foreign finance manager in the US;
