At KMS-Technology, a Senior Business Analyst - Healthcare (Sr. BA) is responsible for working closely with healthcare customers serving the provider, payer and healthcare independent software vendor spaces. The Sr. BA is skilled in capturing and documenting business requirements, functional requirements, and user stories. The Sr. BA is responsible for translating those requirements into system functional specifications and for working with engineering resources to implement functionality that are aligned to the goals of the customer.
In addition, a Sr. BA is expected to perform a variety of supplemental tasks, including writing business specifications, functional specifications, and performing final UAT functions aligned to acceptance criteria defined in user stories. In addition, and as needed, the Sr. BA assists with demonstrations of developed code and training of internal and external teams. From time to time and as directed by sales, the Sr. BA is required to assist with RFP responses as well. The Sr. BA serves as the internal and external evangelist for projects, performing tasks that are appropriate to make project deliverables successful.
This position reports to the Chief Technology Officer and is a contract position with the possibility of full-time hire after 6 months.
