Responsibilities

The L&D Senior Executive manages the process of designing, implementing training programs, and operating training services.

Training design and implementation

  • Gather and document learning needs from Business Units and Departments
  • Design training programs, including developing training proposals, evaluating and selecting training vendors and/or internal trainers 
  • Implement and monitor the development and delivery of training
    • Manage the content development process
    • Design learning experience, evaluation, and complex/new activities
    • Manage the organizing of training activities
    • Manage program budget and expense
    • Design and distribute training reports
    • Monitor the data management process
  • Improve training quality and impact
    • Research to enhance current training tools and systems
    • Analyze training data for insights, reporting, and improvements
    • Compose, review and update training policies

Operate training services

  • Design service offering
  • Monitor the data management process
  • Design, review and distribute reports
  • Manage service budget and expense

People development

  • Mentor or coach team members in one’s own related domains or expertise

Team management

Responsible for managing a sub-team to deliver a sub-function, including member development

  • Lead to achieve the team's goals
    • Manage the team's operations and evaluate the team's performance
    • Liaise with stakeholders to communicate and implement key goals/learning programs
  • Develop team members 
    • Develop the team's learning and development plans, including needs, solutions, and budget
    • Support team members to create and achieving personal goals

Qualifications

  • Having strong training design skills
  • Having experience and interest in Learning and Development
  • Having good communication skills in both English and Vietnamese
  • Having strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email (or similar tools in other ecosystems like Google), and modern training tools
  • Having strong data management skills and mindset
  • Being customer-oriented, friendly, patient, proactive, organized, highly responsible, and having a positive attitude
  • Having experience with technical training, especially for software companies, is a great plus
