We are looking for an experienced Digital Content Writer for a growing tech start-up. This role will be responsible for producing digital content in engaging & impactful formats. The role requires an excellent command of English in written form, a knack for visual communications, and a good understanding of the technology context, particularly product development and UX UI design.

Responsibilities

  • As a copywriter in the growth & marketing team, your main responsibility involves authoring engaging marketing materials, such as blog articles, product reviews, short-form videos, and other materials related to Visily’s products.
  • Social Media content production (the ability to produce simple Media is a plus)
  • Coordinate with the development & product teams to produce user-friendly documentation and engaging marketing collaterals. 
  • Work with the marketing manager to oversee our content calendar to plan content distribution across channels, particularly on social media including LinkedIn, Tiktok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook.
  • Provide content briefs to video editors in order to create engaging short-form videos.
  • Maintain and update Visily’s written documentation such as user guides, and videos to showcase new product features. Manage, proofread, and edit technical materials authored by product experts.
  • Analyze content performance and make data-driven decisions to maximize content impact.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Please submit at least 03 writing samples along with your résumé. Samples of creative briefs would also be accepted.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or English
  • Proven work experience as a Content writer/editor, or similar role with an affinity for writing on technical topics
  • Candidate with prior experience in creating short-form videos is highly regarded
  • Excellent writing and editing skills in English
  • A knack for channeling different editorial voices, and an understanding of brand audience — what they care about and what they share
  • High standards of excellence and keen attention to detail. Flawless spelling and grammar. 
  • A flair for brevity. Performance and result-oriented
  • A confident and positive character with good communication skills and a ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, early-stage start-up environment
  • Creative, curious, and critical thinking.
