Your key responsibilities:

  • Understand domain knowledge & client testing process clearly to implement all testing activities effectively
  • Work directly with client and project team on daily assignments:
    • Analyze requirements and work closely with the client to clarify requirements
    • Develop, maintain and execute manual test cases/test scripts
    • Report, track, and monitor defects on the defect tracking system
    • Prepare and review test documentation
    • Address issues relating to testing quality
    • Communicate progress, test results and quality risks both internally and directly to the client

 

Qualifications

General requirements:

  • Fresh graduate or final-year student in IT, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Upper-intermediate skill level of English
  • Final year student/ fresh graduate/ less than 1 year of experience, can work fulltime
  • Able to self-learn and quickly adapt to new technologies

Technical requirements:

  • Solid knowledge of manual testing, including test strategy, test planning, black-box, risk-based, exploratory, and non-UI testing.
  • Understanding of the software development and testing process.
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
  • Strong dedication to quality and a positive, collaborative attitude and approach to testing

Nice to have:

  • Willingness to learn or hand-on experience in automated tests using testing frameworks like Appium/ Selenium/ Robotium/ UiAutomator/ XCTest/ XCUiTest, etc.
  • Hand-on experience in using test tools like TestNG/ Mocha/ Jasmine/ Nightwatch, etc.
  • Knowledge of Agile development process
