Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities:

  • Lead the test automation strategy and ensure high-quality software delivery across multiple projects.
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain test automation frameworks using Katalon for web, API, and mobile applications.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to the automation team, ensuring best practices and code quality.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA, and DevOps teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Define and improve test strategies, test approaches, and automation processes.
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and risk assessments to align automation efforts with business needs.

Qualifications

General Requirements:

  • At least an intermediate skill level of English.
  • 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on automation.
  • Strong domain knowledge in web and mobile app testing.
  • Proven leadership experience, including mentoring, coaching, and guiding automation engineers.
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
  • Proactive, quality-driven mindset with excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Technical Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in leading automation test teams or projects.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Katalon Studio, including test automation for API, web, and mobile applications.
  • Experience in designing and maintaining custom automation frameworks.
  • Proficiency in using TestNG, JUnit, or similar testing frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of test strategies, test plans, and test techniques (black-box, risk-based, exploratory, non-UI testing, etc.).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless automation integration.
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, K6) is a plus.
  • Good understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC.
