Responsibilities

1. Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate the security controls for data protection, cloud security, network security, and endpoint security, ensure the security controls are operating effectively and efficiently.
  • Operate the vulnerability scanning and work with stakeholders for mitigation plan and following to complete it.
  • Monitoring for abnormalities activities of on-premise and cloud systems via log reviewing, analysis, work with stakeholders to resolve.
  • Monitoring for Endpoint protection activities such as DLP, Antimalware, Full Disk Encryption, etc. for compliance follows to resolve the non-comply issue.
  • Implement and maintain the security baseline for Kobiton systems and endpoints based on well-known standards for the cloud and on-premise environment.
  • Support Security team in investigating incidents such as collecting and analyzing logs for incidents that happen on-premise or cloud environments, ability to coming up with incident reports to Security Manager.
  • Research for new Security solutions which help enhance Kobiton systems’ defense capability.
  • Join and support the Security team to conduct penetration testing on Company’s applications, network devices, servers, and other systems in production and development environments.
  • Support the Security Team to implement and improve the industrial security standards such as ISO 27001, ISO 27017
  • Support Security Team in conducting security awareness campaigns such as phishing, security workshop, seminar to raise employee awareness.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve the identified security issues.

Qualifications

2. Requirements

2.1. Knowledge and skills:

  • Around 2+ years’ experience in IT Systems/Network Administrative both on cloud (AWS) and on-premise environments (Windows, Mac, Linux) and willing to be developed (trained) into a Security career path.
  • Have knowledge of penetration testing.
  • Have knowledge of cybersecurity technologies and tools such as Next-gen firewall, Nessus, N-IDS/H-IDS, Cloud infrastructure, SIEM, Kali Linux, etc. is an advantage.
  • Having knowledge of ISO 27001 family standards or another industrial Security standard.
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve team goals.
  • Ability to conduct and direct research into IT/Security issues and solutions as required. Demonstrate strong organizational skills, including time management and the ability to prioritize and manage a range of tasks pro-actively.
  • Demonstrate good logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize, take ownership, and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Highly motivated, self-directed.
  • Good at English in communication skills including oral and written so can communicate with US Staffs and US Clients.

2.2. Education/Training Preferred:

  • Required Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science related field or equivalent work experience.
  • You will have advantage with one of these Security certificates: AWS Certified Security, CCSP, OSCP, CEH, Web-app Pentest, or other equivalent or higher certificates is an advantage.
  • IT certificate: MCSE, LPI, CCNA, CCNP is also an advantage.
