Senior UI Designer

Responsibilities

KMS Technology Mexico is seeking a talented and experienced Senior UI Designer to join our dynamic team. This role involves working on a data-heavy, AI innovation project for a top global consulting firm. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for creating intuitive and engaging user interfaces, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver high-quality user interfaces for web and mobile applications that are visually appealing, intuitive, and user-friendly.

• Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and developers to create cohesive and seamless user experiences.

• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using industry-standard tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.

• Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across all products and platforms.

• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve the design process and outcomes.

• Ensure that all designs comply with accessibility standards and best practices.

• Communicate design ideas and prototypes to stakeholders and team members effectively.

• Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs and provide guidance during the development process.

• Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Must-Have Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in UI design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.

• Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.

• Experience with creating and maintaining design systems and style guides.

• Familiarity with front-end development principles and technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices in UI design.

• Ability to create responsive designs that work across various devices and screen sizes.

• Strong portfolio showcasing your UI design skills and previous projects.

Additional Skills:

• Experience working on data-heavy applications and understanding of how to visualize complex data.

• Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts is a plus.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
