Responsibilities

UI/UX Designer is responsible for designing and creating engaging and intuitive user interfaces for software applications. Key responsibilities include:

  • Work closely with the Product team on product design, and requirements to deliver wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile applications.
  • Work closely with the Engineering team to understand the technology, and development process and come up with appropriate designs.
  • Work with the Marketing team on basic graphic design tasks for marketing materials.
  • Conducting user & competitor research to understand customer needs, gather feedback and make iterative improvements to the design.
  • Ensuring designs are visually appealing, user-friendly, and aligned with branding guidelines.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest design trends and technologies to bring fresh and innovative ideas to the table.
  • Presenting designs to stakeholders and communicating design decisions with good reasons.

Qualifications

  • Likely having 1+ years of experience.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates experience in working UI/UX designs and/or graphic designs.
  • Deep knowledge of visual design theory (e.g., typography, colour theory, composition, iconography, etc.) and excellent analogue visual communication skills (e.g., sketching).
  • Great understanding and skill set with modern design and prototyping software (e.g. Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative, InVision/Zeplin or similar).
  • Strong interpersonal and independent working skills.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with agile development processes.

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge or experience in the HR domain is a big plus.
  • Experience in graphic design is a plus.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience in Saas Product.
